These illnesses can cause a variety of symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle aches, headache, and fatigue. Because these illnesses can be serious older adults, immunocompromised, and those with chronic health conditions may want to return to mask wearing. The best way to protect yourself from the flu is to get a flu vaccine. The flu vaccine is not 100% effective, however it can help reduce your risk of getting sick, and if you do get sick, it can help make your symptoms milder. In addition to getting a flu vaccine, there are other things you can do to prevent the flu:
WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN WITH SOAP AND WATER.
| AVOID TOUCHING EYES, NOSE, AND MOUTH.
| STAY HOME FROM WORK IF YOU ARE SICK.
| COVER YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE WHEN YOU COUGH OR SNEEZE.

Covid-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a virus that is spread through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The best way to protect yourself from Covid-19 is to get vaccinated and boosted. You should also wear a mask in indoor public settings, especially if you are in an area with high transmission.
The Department of Health recommends wearing a face mask whenever you have symptoms of Covid-19.
